No narration…
No music…
Just natural sounds - walking, breathing, birds calling, wind blowing - as you accompany this Stone Site Investigator making my way around a location in the Jericho, Vermont woods, checking out amazing stonework.
This Unlisted Video features the same visual content as the video Revisiting Cairn-Like Stone Constructs, Odd-Shaped Erratics, & More in Jericho, Vermont but without my narration and without the opening and closing music. When editing the final video together, I found the natural background sound on the video footage as shot in the field had turned out surprisingly well - the site was remote enough that noises from "civilization" didn't often intrude, which is, sadly, a somewhat unique situation these days.
This inspired me to strip off my narration and the music to find out if the video was still watchable - it most certainly was! So, I decided to put together and put out this version as a kind of special holiday treat. You may want to watch the original version with narration first, to find out what's what. Then, you can come back and watch this Special Natural Sound Version to Experience it on your own terms.
Unfortunately, I must warn you not to get used to Natural Sound Versions of my videos, as the background sound in't usually this "cooperative". But I thought you might enjoy this special case.
