This seems to be a special place.
I made my third visit to this Southern Vermont site in late November, but haven’t had much of chance to share more in-depth looks at the features here on Substack in the Ancient Stone Mysteries Newsletter since then. These two Stone Constructs, a large Stone Assemblage on a Base, and a smaller “Horned” Assemblage nearby, are two of the more prominent and striking stone features here.
We’re still assessing this area, but this stonework does have the potential to be older, Indigenous Stonework. The land owners are being very careful with the structures they find. I tend to favor and suggest as little disturbance of features as possible.
They have done some careful recovery work on one of the more prominent structures here, revealing the substantial base underlying the larger Cairn-like Stone Assemblage.

The landowner recounted hearing a sigh of relief as they did the work — when no one else was present.

The Smaller of the two Stone Structures seems to display a single Horn.
With the large Cairn-like Structure displaying such a substantial revealed base, it's hard not to wonder what the base of the smaller stone assemblage might look like, if it does indeed possess one.
Given an apparent rise in the land between the two stone structures, one also wonders if a stone base extends between them at a deeper level as well.
There are more features to share from this site. More to come. And you can see stonework from this visit in this YouTube Presentation:
