New Video - Experiencing A NEARA Field Trip to "America's Stonehenge" in New Hampshire
Share the Experience in a New Presentation Now Available on YouTube
Early November brought with it the NEARA (New England Antiquities Research Association) Fall 2024 Conference in Manchester, New Hampshire, which began with a Friday afternoon Field Trip option to visit the fabled America’s Stonehenge in nearby Salem, New Hampshire. It was a great Field Trip — my new video presentation attempts to capture a little of that Experience and share it with you.
NEARA was founded in 1964, and the Fall Conference was celebrating the organization’s 60th Anniversary. Robert Stone not only help found NEARA in ‘64, he also bought the hilltop now known as America’s Stonehenge in 1965, making this an apropos place to visit. Robert’s son Dennis Stone is currently President of America’s Stonehenge. He gave a presentation on the founding of NEARA to begin the Field Trip, then guided a tour and described each feature as he went along.
You can visit for yourself — learn more at StonehengeUSA.com. Find out more about NEARA at NEARA.org.
Watch for upcoming posts here on Substack sharing uncut field footage that didn’t make it into the final presentation, with some exclusives on the way for paid subscribers as a thank you for supporting my efforts.
