This narrated Six Minute Long Stone Row Walk-Along features a stone row in Williston, Vermont which we see change along its length from a so-called "linear landfill" into a possible Serpent Effigy Row. Too often, naturalists and even archaeologists speak in absolutes — “all stone walls are (blank)!” — when the truth is that there is a great deal of organizational variety to these stone rows, and there are more temporal layers of construction apparent — even in the same stone row, as we see here — than some in academia are perhaps willing to grant.
