The Nashoba Brook Stone Chamber

An Ancient Stone Mysteries of New England Feature Focus

Focusing in on a Stone Chamber in Acton, Massachusetts in the latest in this new series of short video presentations on individual stonework features of interest. This restored Stone Chamber, on Acton's Trail Through Time, could be of Indigenous Origin, though the restorer believed otherwise. Join me for this presentation to step inside this Acton, Massachusetts, Stone Chamber and check out its a unique "L" shaped interior. Could it originally have been be ancient, Indigenous work?

My Ancient Stone Mysteries of New England - Feature Focus presentations provide a look at stonework and related subjects in short doses filled with footage, photos, and briefly related facts and speculation. These are brand-new creations using both seen and previously unseen work from my archives. The footage and photos in this instance are from visits in the Winter of 2019 (my very first Stone Chamber visit!) and late Spring of 2022.

There is also a diagram of the chamber shown, originally from the REPORT ON THE SITE EXAMINATION TESTING AND MONITORING OF THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ACTON STONE CHAMBER, ACTON, MASSACHUSETTS - Prepared for Town of Acton and New England Antiquities Research Association (NEARA) By Craig S. Chartier - Plymouth Archaeological Rediscovery Project - September 2007.

If there are stone features you would like me to focus on, please suggest them in the comments.
